Support for Microsoft® SharePoint®	Get files from Microsoft SharePoint, process them as needed, and save the results by sending the output through PaperPort's Send To Bar. Or use the ScanDirect™ utility to scan to PDF with the results directed to SharePoint.	New
Digital camera input	The Send To Bar now includes a PaperPort OCR option for digital camera correction. Take a picture of a document and accurately convert it to a text document. 3D–de-skewing algorithms flatten page images and correct distortions to produce highly accurate results.	New
Expanded folder management capabilities	The number of colors available for distinguishing folders has increased from 9 to 29. Plus, you can now create multiple folders by importing a list of folder names from a text file.	Improved

To install and run PaperPort Professional 12, your Windows-compatible PC must meet or exceed the following requirements:

A computer with an Intel® Pentium® or newer processor.
Microsoft® Windows XP SP3 or above, Windows Vista® SP2 or above, or Windows 7.
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 or above.
512 MB of memory (RAM), 1 GB recommended.
500 MB of free hard disk space for application files plus 20 MB working space during installation.
SVGA monitor with 256 colors, but preferably 16-bit color (called Medium Color in XP and Vista) and at least 800 x 600 pixel resolutions.
Windows-compatible pointing device.
CD-ROM drive for installation.
Web connection (with IE 6.0 or above) for activation and web update.
