HELPING the needy, one wish at a time. That's how Fuji Xerox Singapore is helping the less fortunate from the Children's Cancer Foundation and beneficiaries of the Boys' Brigade through its annual X'mas Wish Tree programme. This is the 11th year Fuji Xerox Singapore is holding the charity drive with the Boys' Brigade. The charity drive was launched on Nov 2 at the Fuji Xerox Towers in Anson Road and included performances by 62 children, aged three to six years old, from the Del-care Education Centre. They were joined by 15 Boys' Brigade members from Loyang and Yuying Secondary Schools.
Fuji Xerox staff, tenants and members of the public can select a wish out of 350 hanging on a Christmas tree in the building atrium to make a contribution. They can also purchase $20 hampers, which include essentials such as cooking oil, rice and noodles, to be given to needy families by the Boys' Brigade. Fuji Xerox Singapore has helped grant 1,700 wishes since it started the programme in 2004.
