Human Resources Assistant/ Executive [Singapore-Based]

The Human Resources Assistant/Executive will provide assistant to the Office Manager. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of the function and will provide professional, proactive and effective HR service to all staff in the Company.

Main areas of responsibilities include recruitment, orientation of new staff, administering performance appraisal, coordinating training & development, benefits administration, and preparing monthly payroll. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc regional HR projects.

Responsibilities 

  • Handle monthly payroll administration
  • Reports generation
  • Handle annual tax filing of employees’ income.
  • Handle all employee-related services including preparation of promotion/increment/bonus letters, staff confirmation and government survey reports etc.
  • Update and maintain all HR & admin files including employees’ personnel files and payroll files etc. in a timely and organized manner.
  • Update and maintain HR databases for personnel records, payroll records and talent pool.
  • Assist in organizing company functions and staff welfare-related activities.
  • Assist in staff performance appraisal projects for both local office and regional.
  • Coordinate training activities/SDF claims
  • Assist in increment and bonus exercise
  • Reservist claims/Maternity benefit claims
  • Assist in Insurance/Medical yearly renewal
  • Prepares Employment Contracts
  • Any Ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimally a Diploma qualification
  • Familiar with the Employment Act and other related employment laws
  • At least 1-2 year of relevant working experience in Human Resources
  • Hands-on payroll experience required and a good working knowledge of Timesoft is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to details
  • A clear understanding of the meaning of customer care/service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • General "can-do" service attitude.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Well presented and polite.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part a team.
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines
