Speed Up Your Scanning.

Infinity's speed consistently wows customers.  The scanner is designed to convert documents up to 48 inches wide (depending on the scanner model) into sparkling digital images quickly and accurately.

The Infinity WF 36 model scans at rated speeds up to 12.6 inches per second (ips) in monochrome at 400 dpi.  Infinity WF 42 and 48 reaches speeds up to 6.1 ips in color at 300 dpi and 6.9 ips in bitonal at 400 dpi.

 

Connect to the Network.

As a true network scanner, Infinity WF hooks up directly to a local-area network (LAN) using an Ethernet connection.  This allows users to access the scanner from any workstation connected to the enterprise server.

Infinity does not require a dedicated PC.  However, the crossover cable can easily connect the scanner to a dedicated PC, if you prefer to do so.

Further, freed from having to load bulky drivers or software, users can operate the scanner directly from the simple touch screen and send scanned JPEG, PDF or TIFF files to an FTP server, email, USB stick (optional) or a folder on the network.  This makes sharing documents around the office easier than ever before.

 

Scan Bigger Documents.

Technically the largest Infinity WF model can scan documents up to 48 inches wide, but in reality the scanner can handle even larger documents.  Using the image rotation technology included on all Infinity models, you can program the scanner to rotate the scanned image 90, 180 or 270 degrees.  Just feed the oversized document lengthwise and let Infinity do its work so you can view the digital image right side up.

Some might call it cheating, but we like to think of it as the flexibility you need from a scanner.

 

Reduce Programming Time.

Infinity WF is loaded with tools to help you save time and make it easy for anyone to scan.  For instance, automatic width detection frees you from having to program page dimensions into the scanner each time you scan.  This technology allows Infinity to automatically detect the width of any document.  So users can simply feed and scan.

Additionally, since you can feed the document through the middle of the scan table, you won't have to work to avoid the frayed edges that result from incorrectly lining up the document against the scanner's paper guides.
