ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced that its devices will be comprehensively upgrading to ADM 2.0 in order to provide users with better integrated services and overall performance. ASUSTOR will be enhancing all ADM 2.0 services and encourages any users still using ADM 1.0 to upgrade their firmware. The ADM 1.0 version of certain Apps will need to be upgraded after the firmware upgrade to ADM 2.0 or above. Users will be able to upgrade these Apps from App Central.
ADM (ASUSTOR Data Master) is ASUSTOR’s in-house developed NAS operating system that comes with all ASUSTOR NAS devices. ADM was the first NAS operating system in the world to feature an intuitive App-based design. The latest version of ADM (ADM 2.2) was recently released and features brand new functions such as external optical drive support, hard disk hibernation indicators and advanced UPS functionality.
