HiTi Digital to deploy 3,000 photo-printing kiosks by end of 2012 PDF Print E-mail

HiTi Digital, a Taiwan-based maker of digital photo/card printers based on dye-sublimation technology and consumable materials, has installed digital photo-printing kiosks under the own brand inPhoto at more than 100 chain convenient stores and in Taiwan and the company plans to expand the network of kiosks to 3,000 outlets in total by the end of 2012, according to the company.

Such kiosks are equipped with software to enable users to add personal features on printed photos, HiTi indicated. There is demand for printing 700-800 digital photos a year in Taiwan, HiTi noted.

The expansion of inPhoto kiosks will be through chain convenient stores mainly and bookstores and school campuses, HiTi indicated. HiTi plans to promote inPhoto retail service in main cities in China and Southeast Asia, the company pointed out.

HiTi has four factories in Suzhou, eastern China, Vietnam, northern and central Taiwan. The company has exported HiTi-brand digital photo printers to China and the Middle East.
